Some are saying to do the hijack this fix in normal mode, followed by deleting temp files in safe mode & running CWShredder in safe mode at the end. Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files" and untick "hide extensions for known file types" . Also, as long as you don't have anything you'd rather the authorities didn't know about on your PC I would probably report it to the police prior to wiping everything.
