I can say after multiple restarts and several minutes after booting up, I have not experienced any freezing using the old methods that triggered it before. There is a "copy" button below the up/down arrows. The freeze still takes place even after disabling every third-party application, the user claimed. I just got now the "Safely Remove Hardware .." icon appearing all the time in my tray, with a choice to "Eject amsung SSD 850 EVO ..". After that if I only mouse over the Start area, taskbar, the black part simply, it freezes and I get a message that Microsoft Windows is not responding.

What the heck did I do? Mouse Freezing I'll probably download another temperature monitoring program. After that I ran the command prompt commands from above again, and did a quick scan with Windows Defender.
I did a clean install 8 months ago and never reinstalled "Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver" and always had freezing issue for 10-15s, but with the latest update 1min freezing.
Some things that I've done to try and fix the problem I reformatted my computer about a month and a half ago. So I guess the conclusions are as follows: I'm not going to find anything useful in the event viewer, except I know that I can't find the problem there. Unless you are pretty good at computer dissasembly I would recommend that you take this to a computer repair shop to have this problem fixed. This can be seen in something like notepad...if I hold a letter key down, it repeats for about 3 seconds, and then stops. I'll keep Ubuntu (because I guess mint is not very secure?) in mind in case rolling back to previous build version doesn't fix the freezing and other problem with the au... My Specs: Intel i7 2600k, ASUS P8P67 PRO, 16 GB RAM, OCZ Vertex3 SSD, GTX 970. At this point I also made a system restore point in case it got deleted with the disc cleanup. Then I made sure all of my programs were updated (GeForce Experience had a new beta, Origin needed updating, UPlay needed updating, etc) Then I unplugged everything from my USB ports I enabled hot swapping and no more errors. There are other reports that downloading an ISO of Windows 10 build 1607 (i.e. It's horrible again. I advise you try it if you haven't rolled back yet. I tried the ISO image method that another user has said worked for him and to my disappointment, it didn't work.
